FTPS adds SSL encryption to the FTP transfer process. SSL encryption adds a level of security for login and transfer.
How this affects upload routing/forwarding to other sites you list on:
Biblio's FTP site, ftp.biblio.com, fully supports FTP with SSL encryption but does not require it. Some sites (e.g.: ftp.abebooks.com) only allow for FTPS uploading. If any of the sites to which we are forwarding your uploads requires FTPS rather than FTP, just be sure to check the FTPS box next to that destination site on the set-up page.
