When will I be paid?

Modified on Tue, 23 Apr at 3:58 PM

Here's the scoop on when you can expect your payments:

Payments

Mark your calendar for two important dates each month:

  • Orders placed between the 1st and 15th of the month will be paid around the 25th of that same month.

  • Orders made between the 16th and the end of the month will be paid around the 10th of the following calendar month.

And don't sweat it if a payment date falls on a weekend or holiday. We'll make sure your payment is sent out on the next business day.

Tracking Your Payments and Fees

We've made it easy for you to keep tabs on your billing and payments. Head to your bookseller menu and follow these steps:

  1. Click on "Account" at the top of the page.

  2. Look under "Payments" for the links to "Itemized order history" and "Transaction history."

Itemized Order History:

Get a detailed breakdown of each order, including book prices, totals, shipping costs, commissions, and fees. You'll see all the nitty-gritty details after orders have been "billed," which means they've been credited to your account and any commissions or fees have been debited. Plus, you can sort this list by a specific date range.

Transaction History:

This section is a straightforward list of all the credits, debits, and payments on your account, acting as your personal financial record.

In each order's details, you'll spot "Transaction details" right under the title and author information on the left side. This section displays the commission, fees, net amount due for that specific order, and the scheduled payment date. So, you're always in the know when it comes to your payments.
